A Little About Me

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and ever since the 5th grade I knew I wanted to work in Animation. Well what I really wanted to be was an Art Director, but there's still time for that. I started college in 2014 at Columbia College Chicago and had originally wanted a degree in computer animation. That quickly changed after just one stop motion class.

I moved to Portland in 2019 to pursue a career in stop motion. This proved to be a challenge since I didn't know anyone. Cold calling was what I had to do and in July of 2019 I started on my first film Wendell and Wild as an Office Production Assistant (I got to bring Henry Selick his coffee every morning). I soon moved in to the magical Art Department as a Production Assistant for the Art Directors and the Production Designer. I left the film as a Junior Fabricator.

As I continue to make and explore different mediums my love for stop motion continues to grow and I can not wait to work on the next project, however big or small it may be.
